Sonrisas therapy horses are the backbone of our program. These animals have brought untold smiles, laughter and joy to so many. Yearly well-care, costs more than $18,000 for all the horses. Your generous donation will help alleviate cost so we can continue to offer our services Free of Charge to our riders.
Adopting a Sonrisas horse will enable you to provide for their needs for a full year. Upkeep for our horses involves new shoes, feeding, supplements, grooming, tack and veterinary expenses.
Sponsor a therapy horse for a year by donating $1,800 towards their upkeep or $150 a month. Your gift will be recognized in various ways, including web site and social media acknowledgment and a keepsake photo of your horse.
Adoption does not include riding privileges, but does enable a horse to provide weekly therapy to our riders. You are welcome to come visit your adopted horse during riding sessions. Volunteers are always needed!
